Our dinosaur topic knowledge organiser
Our design and technology mini topic is to make a dinosaur themed mechanical picture.
Here we are investigating levers and linkages:
We investigated whether we could jump further if we had a longer femur bone. The femur bone is the thigh bone.
We made dinosaur skeletons from art straws and then labelled some of the bones that dinosaurs and humans have in common!
We drew around our feet to see how many of our feet could fit inside a dinosaur's. It was quite a few!
