Happy New Year! Welcome to the Year 2 Home Learning page. The website links below are all useful for home learning at any time. Below that, we will be posting work for each day of the school week on a weekly basis. If you have any questions, please contact us through the Y2 email address.

  • TTrockstars A website where you can practice your times-table knowledge. You will need your child's individual username and password to access this.
  • Bug Club Website Bug Club is a phonic based website designed to suppport children with reading according to their phonic phases. As the school has a subscription to the site, your child will have an individual user name and password.
  • 'getepic' Reading website This site contains a wealth of books that the children can read or can be read to them. We will assign specific books related to topics but they can search for any books they are interested in.

  • Spelling Shed Visit Spelling Shed for phonics and spelling games. Your child has a log in.
  • Numbots Visit Numbots to play Maths games. Your child has a log in.
  • Reading Books Visit Oxford Owl for free ebooks to read at home. You will need to register for free to access these resources.
  • Phonics Play Visit Phonics Play for fun and familiar games to play. There are many free games for the children to choose from and practise phonic patterns.

The lovely people at 'Funky Foods' have made the resources on their educational website open access for parents and carers during the lockdown. The materials are designed to be child friendly and promote healthy eating and lifestyles. They include some fantastic recipe videos for you and your child to follow.

  • Phunky Foods Website Funky Foods is a website that we use in school to promote healthy eating and lifestyles. The site has lots of ideas for activities and child-friendly recipe videos for you and your child to try.
