Daily Phonics

Welcome to week two of our phonics learning! This week we have uploaded a past paper phonics screening from 2012. This can be used in a variety of ways - you can read the words with the children, write down all the real words and use them in sentences, put sound buttons on the words to help sounding out, or even write them out and hide them around the house for a word hunt! Remember to use finger phonics if your child needs help with sounding out and blending.

These past papers are a great way to find out if there are any sounds in this paper which your child is finding tricky. This will let you know which sounds they might need to practise bit more.

Thanks for your support!
