Virtual Sports Day

Sports Day is one of our favourite events in the school calendar and we wanted to be able to celebrate it in some way. This year we have decided to hold a Virtual Sports Day inspired by a similar event held by Ninian Park School in Cardiff

Everyone can take part at home or at school and there are 12 virtual challenges for you to complete. You can do 1 or all 12, we just hope you can take part in something! Every activity will earn you house points for your house so even one challenge counts! They can all be done with no equipment or things you can find around the home.

For every activity that you photograph/video yourself doing you will receive 5 house points for your house. Once you have completed your challenge/s send your photos/videos to sports@scarcroft.southbank.academy by Sunday 12th July.

Please could you ensure you put your child’s name, year group and the house that they’re in (if you know it) and make sure you let us know if we can use your photos or videos on the website.

Everyone who takes part and submits an entry will get an electronic certificate emailed to them.

Certificates will be -

Bronze - 1 challenge completed

Silver - 2 to 5 challenges completed

Gold - 6 or more challenges completed

If you can wear something that's your house colour whilst completing your challenges next week great. If not, please don't worry, it's the taking part that counts!
