Spring 1 - Ancient Egypt Gallery
Here are our finished Egyptian necklaces- I'm sure you will agree they are fantastic!
In Art we have been exploring Egyptian necklaces. Firstly we designed our own necklaces in our sketchbooks and the following day we began to make them using card and different types of pasta.
In Geography we have been looking at where Egypt is on a map and found out the names of the countries and seas which are close to the country too. We then made our own map of Egypt, using our pyramid structures and further geographical understanding.
We have been exploring the use and structure of pyramids that were built in Ancient Egyptian times We then used this knowledge to create a range of pyramids using a variety of construction materials, here are just some of our amazing pyramids!
Write like an Egyptian! We had a try at writing in the Ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs.
We started our topic by making a historical timeline of some of the key events within Ancient Egyptian times in chronological order.
