Inspired By You

Want more ideas?

Your children are all so amazingly creative and have never failed to astound us with their ingenuity this year so I’m sure they’ll have lots of ideas for things to do. However, we all need some inspiration from time-to-time. There are loads of great and free ideas and opportunities on the internet at the moment so we’ve curated a few of our favourites that we thought your children would enjoy.

These websites are intended to be viewed together as a family as many of them require accessing social media channels or video sharing.  Remember your child should not be left on the internet unsupervised. If you would like support on keeping your child safe online please see: http://www.childnet.com/parents-and-carers/hot-topics/keeping-young-children-safe-online  and www.nspcc.org.uk/keeping-children-safe/online-safety/

Mud Pie Arts have launched 'Cloud Tales.' on their website: www.mudpiearts.co.uk/cloud-tales

Every Monday and Thursday they record a story inspired by a cloud that has floated over York that morning. Only, each tale will be missing an ending (clouds do have a habit of drifting off!) Can you decide how the story ends? You can draw, make, say or write their story endings. Why not send them to us using Evidence.Me or our email address: yr@scarcroft.southbank.academy

They have chosen to post voice recordings as they think this encourages the imagination to create more vivid pictures!
