It's December time and we can finally say the 'c' word: Christmas! Advent Calendar chocolates were a firm class favourite.
Maths got a whole lot more challenging with a 'defuse the bomb' scenarios. In a bid to save the plastic ducklings, children had to solve fraction problems in order. Lots of collaboration and decisive decision making were required.

As part of our ICT curriculum, we have linked in our work on the life of Charles Dickens with producing an online powerpoint quiz using 'Virtual Basic'. Children were required to follow algorithms and coding to form message boxes.

We have also created some Scrooge-esque door knockers using clay and paint. The children were inspired, creative and talented at their attempts :)
