CLASS 2NB (MISS BROOKER)
Welcome to 2NB.
To help us with our learning we will also have 3 teaching assistants throughout the week, they are called; Mrs Farrington, Miss Mason and Mrs Lowis.
Our Class Aims....
Woodland Adventure Trip
Over the last half term we have been exploring the use of watercolour paints and how we can make different shades and tints as well as adding texture to our pieces of art. Here are the final drafts of our daffodil paintings using all of the skills we have learnt this half term;
We put our detective hats on and went to discover what kinds of trees there are on Scarcroft Green. We used the leaves, twigs and bark to help us try and identify each variety of tree.
In Art this half term we are creating beautiful daffodils using water colours paints. Here are our first drafts;
We have been looking at the book 'Greta and the Giants' and were inspired to make signs to be part of the crowd that stands with Greta to help save the trees from the Giants.
We have been working hard to improve our sketching. These examples show draft 1 and draft 6! We then used colour to create portraits in the style of Kehinde Wiley.
