The Health, Safety & Premises Committee
This committee meets termly and also carries out a number of inspections and risk-assessments, to ascertain the safety of children, staff, visitors, premises and equipment. Some inspections are carried out by external providers, selected by the Local authority; the main ones include Asbestos, PE equipment testing, fire equipment testing, Fire Risk Assessment, Water Risk Assessment. The school’s Site Manager attends meetings in an ex-officio capacity, to provide first-hand information on the day-to-day issues of managing our Victorian building.
